Default Mayberry State Park

Anybody here ever fish Mayberry in Northville? I've fished there in the summer time and caught tons of nice gills, not sure what else is in there though. Thinking of trying it today since I called in today.

I live right around the corner. Saw three guys out there last week. Don't know how they did. I was out there six weeks ago and got a few small gills. How big were the ones you caught in the summer?

The gills I caught there were around 7-8 inches, good eating size.

I've fished it in years past, and used to catch SMALL bluegills.

I used to fish mayberry alot years ago but it's becoming more of a swamp than a lake these days. Lots of stunted gills (too many kids taking sub-legal bass home). My .02... not worth the walk from the parking lot!

the fishing pond there is great for bass. That's the only reason why I've been there periodically throughout past summers. Usually using topwater baits, like a jitterbug.
