I'll be fishing Friday morning, probable SANG area or maybe try south river road.
Hopefully it won't be as crowded out there as it's been on the weekends.

I have some friends that have been fishing Lakeville this year. They been just outside of the harbor where the boat launch is. Hasn't been real productive. I know there are walleyes in there cause I caught one this summer. Nice size too. 18" Good luck to you.

Red Face

Fished SANG this morning from 8:00 to 12:45.
We fished 5-6 FOW near the pressure crack North/East of SANG.
Out of about 20 to 25 perch caught, I only managed 4 keepers, 8" to 9" in length.
Anyone else do any good?

Brian.....

Fishing was terrible this morning. We fished out of Selfridge from 7:30 to 10:00. We didn't see many fish and only took 6. We then fished metro by the docks and only managed another 4 keepers in almost 3 hours. I would not recommend going to anyone- especially tomorrow. Any noise spooked the fish.

Went out of Brandenburg from 11 - 3 (caught em between 11:30 - 2). Walked out about 3/4 of a mile to a pressure crack (the 3rd?) and stopped when I saw a small patch of weeds. There were small schools of fish that would stop at the weed bed for a couple of minutes and I would pull in 2 - 6 then wait for the next school.

Ended up catching 29 decent perch....only 2 were in the 6" - 7" range. I didn't catch any real hogs but I did get some decent 10" or 11" fish. All went back to be caught another day!

They ate anything i threw at them. I had a chartruese/white jig...wax worms, wigglers, minnows and even some dead baby shrimp I had bought a while back. The larger fish were caught with minnows. But I did manage 5 nice ones on a jigging rapala also.

I fished LSC north of cotton road today from 8:00-2:30 and took home 40 perch from 9-11"s. I measured each as I caught it, as it is too easy to slip 8-8.5 inchers in your bucket if your not paying attention. I caught them all on minnows and kens hooks Nickel/red with red bead and perch color with red bead the larger hooks seem to detour the smaller dinks. Oh and one more thing, while I have been reading this board for a couple months and this is my first post, sooo... HELLO to all
btw the fish were still cooperating when I left, I just ran out of minnows.

Took my daughter out to fish this afternoon off of cotten rd from about 3pm till dark. Started out about 300 yrds N and out rather far. Caught about 30, but only had about 6 keepers. Seemed like I was fishing on a hump of some sorts. Lots of fish in the hole but no hogs. Moved about 300 yrds closer to shore and got into some nice fish. Seen some that looked like walleye. Couldn't figure out how to get a 8" spear in a 4" hole. Bad physics there. Brought home about 20, didnt want to clean anymore. firetiger rapala tipped with a salmon egg out fished minnows about 10 to 1. Didnt catch a fish on spikes. Tori didn't catch any fish (shes only 2 1/2) but had fun playing with the minnows. Seen a huge ski too....Probably go back on sun..

Hi Brian and thanks, five foot.
To Salmonslammer was that you I met, on way and your little girl was riding on your shanty, and I said I was fishing out by the plywood shanty?

Default Fri. 2/7

Went out around 7am fished till 5:30pm. Kept 30. I tried not to keep any under 8" but some were, most were over 8". The largest was 13" on the tape. There were lots of 7" out there. Anywhere else I would have to keep 7" perch, but not at LSC. Take your creepers if you go, not much snow on the ice.
