Harson's island is surrounded by the South Channel of the St Clair River, The North Channel & the Middle Channel. It is accessable by a ferry only.
The ferry is located about 15 miles past New Baltimore on M29. If you want to look on Mapquest.com, the address to the ferry is 3470 Pointe Tremble Rd, Algonac, 48001. Here's another address I know of a place on the island itself....3060 S Channel Dr, 48028. Ferry cost 5 bucks going over, free on the way back.....

The canals right at the bay only had about 2' of water in them. There were only 2 people out in the bay on Sunday.

Great site!!! First post but I will pass on any info that may help in future. Fished Spillway and Fairhaven last couple of weekends for pike w/ no success. I heard that the marina on Harsens Island just to the right of the ferry was good for pike. Any info on this or ice in that area would be appreciated.

Boy that used to be an excellent ice fishery. I really hope water levels would return to normal. I'ts prabably been 8 years since there has been decent water levels in little muskamoot bay.

The marina that is to the right of the ferry when you get off is short and connected to the St.Clair River. There were 4-5 Shanty's out there. There were some big boats being stored on land just to the side so I would have to imagine that is has some good deep water. You probably could catch every type of species there. I did not stop and fish it but my suspicion is that is probably the best spot to fish on the island.
