mud creek/caseville ice conditions
Well, got out and we took a ride around to see what, if any, affect the wind had on the ice.
Mud creek, no open water to be seen, however, a pretty good size mound of ice right along the pressure crack from where the wind has pushed the ice toward shore.
Caseville, once you get passed the breakwall, it is all open. Where the walleyes have been is still safe and should stay safe. The temps will drop and the open water will feeze over, so if you decide to go off caseville, DON'T GO FARTHER THEN THE END OF THE BREAKWALL.
The is very little snow left on the ice, but the rain that we had didn't do anything to the ice, but melt the snow.
