Post Lake Simcoe

I was just wondering how everybody did on Lake Simcoe over the past weekend. Bounty Hunter, didn't you head over there over the weekend? If so, how'd you do? Just curious becuase my group did terrible 2 weekends ago and was hoping everybody else is doing better.

Thanks.

Ken.

Ken, we went to mitchels bay because of the slow reorts from simcoe..We did real well Friday and not too bad saturday. We fished about 3-1/2 to 4 miles out to the second crack and a little past...We were to the north of the pack about a mile or less and I put a pic in my album of our fish from fri. Good luck if ya go and we did real well on small jigging raps with a red bead on center treble hook and you may need to bounce around from hole to hole if it gets slow..

Does anyone know the best place to access Roches point and or Cooks Bay? Im heading up this weekend with four other guys and have only been once. I would like to be somewhat prepared when I get there.

I don't know if its the best place to access the Lake, but we parked at Keffers, off of Lake Drive, I think we took Metro Rd. to Rayners Rd and this led right to Keffers. Parking is 10 dollars canadian. Roches Pt is north aways, of this access, but it puts you pretty close to the middle of Cooks Bay.
