Question Black Lake near onaway

Hi Im going to onaway this weekend and I want to fish black lake .can any one give me a fishing report and also where to fish? thanks Ray

I live up this way, however have never set foot on the ice there. Here is a great link to check out the lake. Good Luck

I sure don't, however if you go to that link I posted previously, you can find lodging info as well. I don't know if I can solicite a website, but If I could I would. Fishweb.com It sure is great info for sledheads and fisherman, and living in the area is a bonus.

I fished out from the hotel two weeks ago and had no luck.
that was a bad weekend all around weather-wise.
I know they get walleye, pike and muskie in that area.
Also a few perch. Hope I was a little help

I was up there a week and a half ago and had no luck. Fished out from the hotel and only seen # fish all day. Hopefully its picked up since then, I too was thinking about heading up that way this weekend. If you find out any info post it please as I will do the same. Good Luck

I'm heading up there on the 14th for the drawing for sturgeon spearing. if I dont get a draw will probably hit another lake in the area. As far as ice fishing goes my sucsess on black has been limited in the last several years. although there was one year about 6 or 7 years ago where we had steady action on the walleye all day (lots of flags) and ended up with 4. but havent been able to repeat that lately.
