Drove down and fished the day just north of the park and out past the second crack. The early fishing was pretty good until around noon. I pulled 18 nice fish on a Rapala, most were 10-12 but I had a couple of 9 inchers in there as well. I made several moves towards Canada during the day and didn't catch a fish until almost 5 pm. The last hour was pretty fair with me catching 15 fish that all were in the 11-12 inch size range once again on a Rapala. The fish seemed quite scattered due to all of the noise on the ice with the sleds and power augers. It was a long day out there but I am happy with the success. The only advise that I can give is to stay away from the crowds.

Tube,

How do you get there? I don't know this access point. I only know SANG and Cotton Road, although I've never been there.

Salmonslayer,

The visability is like watching your tv screen. Also you will prabably see schools of hudge shad and a lg.mouth bass or two.
