Default Tipsico Lake

I went out today to do some pike fishing. It me and about 6 of my buddies with about no success. We landed 5 pike all together and nothing with any size at all to them. The ice tho is like 14 inches thick. With out a power auger u would be in some trouble. We seen a few guys strugling with a hand auger and went over and let them use it and lets say that they were extatic to see us. They ended up lading one nice one about 30 inches but other then that a totaly slow day. Once it hit about 230 the fishin totaly cut off and it started snowing shortly after that so we brought our trucks out there to keep out of the snow. we ended up leaving around 540 and with out any keepers on the day. oh well plann to hit up another lake on suday not to sure where yet some where in oakland county. If any one has an idea of a decent lake around the area i could give a try drop me a line a Bigguy51iii@aol.com

Good luck and flags and tight lines all

Sight thinking of heading out

Thinking hard about going to Tipsico this weekend. I've yet to get a pike this winter and I'm on a mission to get all the species I can now. (I've had enough crappies and gills to last me until next year).

Anyway, not much chatter on the forums about this lake, maybe that's a good thing, maybe not.

I'm getting to the point where I want to put my tip ups out and sit in my car and watch I'll post a report if I make it out!
