I just got off the phone with Tim.

40lbs 6oz. Beats the previous state record of 36.13lbs. And the current world record by 2oz.

I asked if it had eggs, Tim declined to comment Caught throwing sticks on the Big M.

I'm assuming one of his clients boated it, just assumed it so I didn't ask. Could not have happened to a better guide.

Wow, nice fish, if the weight is correct he might have the world record by 2 ounces.

not to be a dick but the photo properties are pretty questionable ( I deleted some of it) but the .ak stands for arkansas where the last world record brown trout was taken, or maybe alaska

For a small fee of $19.95 I will be drawing detailed maps too people wishing to fish the run that the " Slob Bruiser Brown" was caught in.
Along with detailed drawings of the River bottom....
But wait if you act now i'll throw in a 1 hr CD of TSS Caddis humming his favorite tunes...

Would someone please certify that fish...... the suspense is killing me...

Easy Shurlok.

They caught it 5 hours ago. He is downtown Manistee with it right now.

Ak is Alaska, AR is Arkansas, so your detective work is a little lacking.

Anyway, I've known Tim for 20 years, this is not a fake.

It's already been weighed on a certified scale.

If I remember correctly from the last large brown that pushed the state record, they need to do DNA testing to confirm it is not an Atlantic.

I'm more concerned about the nightmare up there this weekend as a bunch of idiots hitch up their boats thinking that they now have to hit the Big M ASAP for a chance at such a brown.
