Lake St. Clair Fishing Can't Be Beat
Hi Fellow Sportsmen,
This message is for sportsmen who have not fished Lake St. Clair!
For those of you who have not caught Muskie up to 53 + inches and weighing up to 35 lbs+ and in numbers on a given day that can't be imagined and on the same day catching Walleye with boards or worming in all sizes that you dream of.
Catch giant Perch and fill your daily limit without a problem day after day without putting a dent in the Perch population which seem to outnumber the human population of our three neighboring states and one country for that matter!
And then there are Small Mouth Bass; The correct way of discribing this point is to say "Its Unbeleiveable" in terms of numbers and size, to the degree that they are a pain in the butt.
Lastly, Sturgen, Catfish, Bluegill and all other fresh water species are at your fingertips.
Now, I ask you, how can you beat Lake St. Clair??
Bait Runner
PS: Please Vote Republican in November if you want this type of Fishing and Hunting to CONTINUE and keep OUR Waterways SAFE!!!! The GRANHOLM's who promice you the moon will take your hunting guns, raise lisence fee's and remove your fishing freedoms away. You can take this to the Bank! I'm no conservative but Facts are Facts. Check her out!! Bad News.

The Secrects out now
Way to go, now everyone will be out there!
Just kidding dude.
I couldnt agree more and I have the bug bad. Nothing like fishing a body of water and not knowing what you will catch.
I was bottom bouncing the Middle Ch. and managed to hook a Sturgeon (my first) saw it twice and it was wider than my Lund!!
I havent had the shakes from catching a fish in a long, long time>

Hey IT,
Congrats on the Sturgeon! I have never caught one of these rascals, I hear they are awesome and great to eat, like eating steak. Thanks for your reply.

LSC & The election
Bob-O: I agree LSC is the best, why drive to Simcoe for perch, when you can light them up right here.
As to the election, Jenny can't figure out which way to go or to who she wants to appeal to. Reparations are O.K. for slavery, any alive today? Affirmitve action is good, it worked well in the DPD, for 20 years, now they are paying the price, they sent Cheif Hart off to the hoos-gow for stealing a million dollars. The peoples are graduating from college and can't read beyond the 10th grade level. You want to carry a firearm into the woods and go hunting, get a license, register your gun and have a permit for a shotgun or rifle.
Do we need this type of tripe running Michigan? Vote your concisious, but at least vote, if you don't vote, don't complain about what's coming at ya!
Personally I like the Libertarians, they just don't have the money to compete. Sad situtation, elections are bought and sold, like Ford Motor Co. on the NYSE. God bless America, as Ben Franklin stated at the conclusion of the the Constitutional Convention when asked " What have you wrought?" His answer "...a Republic, if you can keep it." Webster defines republic " a state, in which supremacy of the people is formally acknowledged". We have just about given that away already.

I didnt land that Sturgeon, after 25 minutes and 2 surface views it did break off. I dont think I could ever keep and eat one of these babies. You can get Stugeon at the excaliber rest. 12/northwestern. I imagine that what we catch here is riddled with bad stuff, given they are bottom type fish and certainly the age/size as well. I will be back next year fishing the deep holes to land one and take a quality pic.

Lake St Clair Fishing (LSC)
Hi Icet,
I'm sorry that you feel the way you do about LSC and with no disrespect intended, your comments and attitude are way out of line in regard to Canadian regulations and the fish population.
As in the states we as Americans do need a Canadian license when fishing in their waters however that is the extent of Canadian requirements other than complying with their catch and size limits which are similiar to what we have here.
Lastly, the fish population and the quality there of, for Musky, Walleye, Perch and Small Mouth Bass on LSC are unmatched by any other body of water in the state of Michigan!!
For example, where can you boat and release 8 plus Musky per day, catch your limit of Walleye (6) and Perch (50) every day of the week,(weather permitting)?? The name of the lake is "Lake St Clair"
Please do me a favor Icet, stop reading the news papers and all that BS and get out and fish LSC - You will be glad you did!
LOL, Bob

Negative's
Hey guys lighten up, this web site is about fun, sharing some good ole' fish tales, in other words lying a bit. Not sure that I know what everyone is talking about, but I will tell all of you one thing, life its to short to get upset with anyone on this site.
Share some stories, information and fishin stories and save the bull **** for the likes of The Detroit News/Free Press and Macomb Daily & the upcoming election. Just remember to do one thing VOTE on election day.
Must have missed something here!
