James Earl Jones in Dublin, Michigan
I just found out that James Earl Jones, famous actor and voice of Darth Vader, was raised in Dublin, Michigan, that tiny little town by tippy dam. Although born in Mississippi, he moved to Dublin at the age of 3 and was raised there. He was involved in his first stage production in Manistee, and attended U of M. I found that interesting.

James Earl Jones went to and graduated from Brethren High School in Brethren, MI. As a youth he was a severe stutterer and gives credit to a high school teacher of his for helping him overcoming his speech handicap.

great actor. I've always enjoyed his work...and I'm not saying that just because I'm a Star Wars fan! I thought he was really good as Thulsa Doom in Conan the Barbarian as well as numerous other parts in various movies.
