Default Banner Year!!!

I want to thank everyone who participated in this year's Blue Water YMCA Salmon Stakes Event. I could not have asked for any better results from the BWSA members. With your help, we surpassed our goal of 1,050 tickets sold. The official volume of tickets sold including the YMCA's count will be over $20,000 raised for their organization.

A total of 77 boats were entered into the fishing tournament, tripling last year's entrys. Not too shabby when considering the tough economical times that we are all going through. The fishing was on the upward swing wieghing in more and larger "silver" fish than we have in the past few years. Mother Nature was even on our side this year to give us better success results.

Lastly, I would like to thank all Donors and Committee Members of this year's event. There were 25 recipients of Certificate Award Winners who without their support, Salmon Stakes could not exist. Again, thank you all for participating and good luck fishing throughout the year! Tightlines!

Sincerly,

Jim Frazer
Committee Chairman

Way to go John, Chewy and the rest of the crew. That is a nice catch of silver. Our box was to light to even make the trip down to weigh in. I had talked to a few boats and after talking with you guys I figured 13 fish would hold enough to win it. I will call you guys this week, we are planning on heading to HB Friday night.
Congrats on the win.

Default Salmon Stakes

Great Job guys! I have fished the SS for over 4 years now and every year it get's better & better. Our box was a little lighter then we wanted so we decided to stick around -vs- make the run down and back up Sat.

I know what it takes to try to put together an event like this and I can only say.... Job well done!

See you next year!
Ben

Ben,

I snapped a few photos of your boat when you drove past us. They did not come out too good, but I will send them to you.
