I don't have the number offhand, but the name of the Shop is Clem's Bait and Tackle if you want to call information.

Thanks Killer. I called him. There's a few fish caught every day. I might be forced to try it. I've been known to catch a fish or 2.
Hope to see you at the outing.
BTW his phone # 517.354.2070, his hours are
6:45-6:45

Hey Shoeman, tell me how you did and what they were catching them on and techniques when you get back. I have fished there before when it was really good, but I did not catch anything cause i had too light of line. I could really use a fix for steel right now!!!

Hey Killer, the way I look at it, there should be fresh fish every day. It's only a short run to the dam. Not to mention browns. I've been talking to a guy that's been fishing for browns through the ice. Some of his fish have eggs running out of them. He seems to think, that some spawn under the ice. I've seen the same thing for about 3 years now. With the introduction of different strains, such as the seeforellen, anything is possible. There were browns spawning in the big M 2 weeks ago. The stairs at Wellston and the Suicide had trails of yellow eggs. Are you beginning to see a pattern?
We might also take a run up to the Oqueoc. Does anybody know if the lower is frozen?

Hey Shoeman! It was this weekend last year that we nailed the steelies on the Thunderbay. I have a friend that fishes it almost every day and he says he's been getting a fish or two per trip. Most of the fish are dark, but a fresh run is due in any day.

I'm still keeping that spawn for you.

Thanks Bob, Have you been out at our favorite harbor lately? We went to the St. Joe's last week and tried to stop the run. We did manage to finally get a hen. Are they getting any browns?

Shoeman,
I understand the action slowed just a little. I guess they are picking up a few more small steelies now. Spring's a coming.
