Does anybody know where I can get instructions/blueprints to build a riverboat? I don't know if there are any books available or maybe even a website? I was hoping to find something soon enough to have one built for the spring. Thanks!

Is that a drift boat that you are interested in?

Try www.ausableboats.com I ran across this site a while back. They might have some in kit form. I sure couldn't believe the price of those things. "ouch"

Go to Dave Wyss's website.guilttrip.com
Dave is a guide at Wakeley Bridge, and I believe he still builds boats.
My father and I have one built by Jay Stephan, I believe it is one of the nicer boats on the river. 3 Piece Cedar, 20ft. Does anyone on this site have a riverboat? You won't have a nicer time on the stream than the time spent in an Au Sable Riverboat.

I've thought about guiding, I've spent my whole life on the mainstream below Wakeley Bridge. The problem is that I like to fish, we all know how much guides get to actually wet a line.
I do plan on running trips for some people in the Port Huron area.
I don't want to know your favorite holes but does anyone fish the No-Kill below Stephans Bridge in the winter?
