I'm going to be on the Ausable Saturday(10/13). I think There will be plenty of fresh chins in the system.
By mid afternoon I;ll be the guy walking around at the Highbanks(Fairly intoxicated) asking people for spawn!
Tight lines and bloody knuckles.

Stelmon, just how many fish need to be in the river for you to want to go? Dude, this is just my two cents but, if the salmon runs aint happinin yet, they just aren't gonna happen. At least not any better than they are right now. Forget the high banks and forget two in the morning. If you wait to much longer you can even forget the salmon! No offense, just my thoughts. Go fishin dude!

Fish

Weezer, if you have returned, how was the fishing on the Ausable?
I camped and fished in Huron Nat'l Park East of Mio a few times earlier this year and I was looking for another overnight trip soon.
