My friend just told me the run is over at the Au sable if any1 nos if this is true please email me or leave a report. Was planning on going up next week but if there in this week I wanna be there. Please help

Dan, I replied on TSS but I'll do it here too. The East siderivers are still in need of a rain to push the fish in the river. The river that I have been fishing is similar to the Ausable in the "Run" times. I'd say that we have less than 20% of the fish in the system right now!!!! You will be golden in a week or two!
I am not even planning my first visit to the Ausable until possibly next weekend! trust me if I missed it it was a VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY short run!!!!!!!!

I don't know how well you know the ausable but I might be looking for a partner or two for next weekend. If you plan on being up there let me know. I'm pretty sure we could get on a few fresh ones without fishing at the dam or at the high banks.
