Question

Hi all-
I may be somewhat off-topic here but I'm not getting any answers anywhere.
I'm going to be camping in the federal camping area, around Cooke Pond, and I need to know if I'll be able to use my 18' deep vee, and be able to beach it or moor it ok at the campsite, without a hassle.
Or, should I just use my 14' utility vee?
I hope someone's got info.
Thanks
PM

Depends how far up from the dam you with to camp. If its any distance at all I'd go with the 14'. I've camped in the area that you describe. Bring lots of bug gunk as the mosquitoes and black flies will drive you nuts.

Thanks, Steve;
I'll be safe, and take the little boat. I remember the lake as being perfect for the big one, but parking it at the camp may be tough.
Not going for a coupla' weeks, so maybe the insects won't be a problem.

Regards,
Pat
