Default Need walleye opener partner...

My buddy bailed for Saturday and I am looking for someone to join me to fish the opener. I'm thinking Muskegon Lake starting around Midnight. Just before sunrise I wanted to head to the west end or out into LM for perch. My boat is ready and I would be willing to consider other options as well.

Wish I could join you, but I promised a couple of guys that have never been to Lake Erie a trip this weekend. Just to let you know though I have heard of a good bite going on in front of the pier heads and a little north for walleye on the big lake. I haven't been out myself but the guy that told me is usually a pertty good source. Husky jerks and #18 rapalas have been what there using out there. I would guess that there should be plenty of walleye in Muskegon Lake off from the river mouth by now though to.

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING
TIM

I can't believe you've got no takers. If all my gear wasn't at the cottage up north - I'd be there. I thought Gomer was from Rockford, figured he'd jump all over this.

If it was down in the southeast, I would be open.

Good luck though
