Panfish in Grand Rapids, MI
Hi there, can anyone tell me if they are catching any panfish on inland lakes near Grand Rapids, MI? I am headed out on Monday and am curious where they're biting. Let me know. Thanks.

Head out to Yankee Springs, the gills are biting pretty much everywhere, we've been getting them on nymphs and on poppers everywhere we've been.

We've been doing real good out of our float tubes on a couple different lakes. What time are you going out next week? I don't have to be to work until 1:00 so maybe we can hook up one morning and fish for a few.

Maybe on Thursday evening I may go fishing on Hall. May take my float tube as well (most likely will). Will you be out and about? Let me know.

Wabasis Lake is in the NE portion of Kent County in Spencer Township. 18 Mile Rd. and Lincoln Lake Ave. are good reference points. The boat launch is on the SW side off Meddler Ave.

Hey Big Al, I'll let you know how I do on Hall. I'm thinking the fishing should be pretty good with all this warm weather.
