bass/pike regs
i know that the season for bass and pike isnt open yet, but i just got a boat today and am itching to try it out. my question is....when bass and pike seasons are closed-does that mean catch and release only, or no fishing for them at all??

You can not target fish out of season. Even if you plan on practicing catch and release. There are a few catch and release lakes for bass, check the reg's handbook. Also pike season is open year round on St. Clair. I'm heading out tomorrow (hopefully).
