Default Port Sheldon south 3am Saturday 4-13

A buddy and myself are going to fish a few hours for them walleye south of Port Sheldon Saturday early in my boat. When the sun comes we'll already be fishing for browns and jacks. If anyone would care to join us with their boat we could cover more water and help eachother out if there was trouble. I have a couple of two way radios I could bring in case anyone wants to buddy up out there. I plan on fishing til 9 or 10 am.

I'll have to meet you out there sometime, maybe in May... Seems the end of April into May has been pretty good out there for me in the past. I've been a real slacker this year, my boat isn't ready for the water yet!

While I do not have a marine radio yet, look for me in the morning with a blue Smokercraft Big Fisherman and 25 horse Evinrude. I'll be there with my buddy.

Thumbs Up I slimed my new boat!

Well we trolled from PS to Tunnel Park in Holland for 3 hours with the trolling motor in 8-16 fow. Water temp from 45 to 47 degrees and very clear. Marked a ton of pods of fish but no takers.

Fired up the motor and trolled until we ran into the armada. Pulled lines ran in and marked schools on top in 23 fow 45 degrees temp. Made a couple passes, nothing.

Motored to the pierhead and hit a 3 lb brown in 13 fow 45 degrees popping motor in and out of gear on a silver plated thunderstick. Made a few quick passes and called it a day at around 10 along with everyone else.

A beautiful morning to be on the water. The stars on the dark lake, slipping silently along the beaches only the sounds of the water crashing on the shore. Love this state I'm in, Michigan.
