Question Saginaw Bay

Anybody catching perch in the cuts near Quanicassee or Sebawaing? Was thinking of trying this weekend. Anyone trying for walleyes in the bay? I heard they stay in pretty close to shore this time of year.

Jrock, the pine river runs in to the saginaw bay in Standish. It is exit 190 on 75. Hed west go about 8-9 miles until you see a bait shop on the southwest cornor of a intersection with a blinking light. they will tell you the rest of the way.. GOOD LUCK...

Pan Fisher,Jrock - Go EAST on 61, not west. West will take you to the Molasses River and there are no perch in there! Good Luck.

Tried the Pine on Sunday with my 5 year old son. We were rigged for suckers since he wanted to battle something big. Got 1. Got plenty of pictures as he battled that brute of a sucker. The best part was when he got it a foot from shore and then turned and run up the bank to drag it on shore. We only got two suckers all day, one at the Pine and another at the Rifle but he still had a great time and can't wait to go again.

What happened to the water level at the pine? I know the water levels are low everywhere but the Pine seems really bad. I used to perch fish there many years ago. Do you have to get into the bay to get them now?

Holzy, I fished with him and the just got done dredging it out a few weeks ago and it probably anywhere from 4-7 feet deep would be my guess. This rain should turn them on.I will be up there thursday and will post a report.
