Oscoda again and I was Frankfort

In that one thread, I know the marina well and have fished with the owners for years. If it not I would be greatly surprised.

Well the bad news is NOTHING that big over there and the winds didn't cooperate for me in my dingy, but we did manage to tag some fish and have some fun.

The river is full of walleye on cloudy days, caught thirteen one day we couldn't stay out on the big water, (4 keepers is all)

There are still all the Lakers you would want

Walleye out deep as well

And even some kings my biggest was 10 but still fun I here they are doing pretty well out of Harrisville.

Steelhead was found letting a small orange crush back 100 feet, didn’t even get it hooked to the release, and bout took my little finger off.

Meat and small spoons, are still working best for me, also the small silver dodger and chartreuse spin and glow was picking up the pinks the best.

100 foot of water for the most part and within 10 feet of bottom for all but the Steelhead.

lI was very limited on fishing hours due to winds, but managed to enjoy the time I was able to spend on the lake

Heading out of Main Pier Marina this weekend for some action Sat and Sun morning early. Like, breaking daylight early. Plan on running spoons/flies off the riggers, but was wondering about maybe using some diving rapalas off the boards for the steelies. Anyone want to comment on using that method to cover the upper and lower zones of the water for both Salmon and Steelhead?

Wook, the surface temps are pretty warm now. The few steel that we have taken lately have all come on a full core of lead line with spoons. Your plan my work very early but I would not marry it. Good luck.
