Question

I am starting to collect the old metal tins that once held split shot.

If you collect split shot tins and have doubles or you just have some you would like to sell, please contact me.

How right you are. Split shot did get packaged in wodden tubes. The Pflueger company is the most well known company with wood split shot and hook tubes. There should be a paper label on the top of the tube which will tell you the maker and contents.

Thank you for the offer, but I have some wood tubes already and I am really looking for tin boxes.

Max, I'll look around. I think I saw a tin. By tin you mean the ones that the top slides back and forth?
