Fish herring

heading up to port sanilac wondering one, where can i get herring at? two, is there a lot of alwive action?

I believe Anderson's at the end of I94/beginning of M25 has whole herring. I believe Clay's bait in Sanilac also has herring.

Andersons Pro Bait in Port Huron has them.
I believe Clays in Sanilac has closed.
