Default Duck boat/Fishing boat/Custom blind/trailer

Can't believe I'm doing this, but 2'-itis has overtaken me....

For Sale:

14' Meyers Super Pro w/ custom "flip top" blind and trailer. Here's the skinny....

Boat: 67" at it's widest, 65" at the transom. Transom wood was replaced last fall, 3/4" treated plywood, w/ stainless hardware. Boat is stone dry. Exterior is painted camo. Bow has been beefed up w/ an added piece of aluminum for breaking ice. Bow and stern lights are wired individually. Interior was sanded and re-painted with Parker duck boat paint last fall. I believe the capacity rating is 900#. The boat is solid and stable. Very dry ride.

Trailer: Bunk/roller style trailer. I cleaned off the old, peeling paint with a grinder and re-painted it black last fall. New winch and strap. New lights and wiring. New PVC guide-on posts. Bearing buddies added. Tires are in good shape.

Blind: Custom built blind made from 1/2 conduit and canvas. Canvas is green w/ camo painting on it. There are three sections in the top that flip open when you are ready to shoot. Total concealment. Two side panels also open to let the dog in and out, or for entry/exit from the boat. The blind connects to the boat via conduit clips and short bolts. It takes about 20 minutes to put on/off. There is chicken wire on the exterior into which you can insert surrounding vegetation for added concealment. Without added vegetation (or blind material), the rig looks like a big rock on the open water.

All in all, I have been very satisfied with this rig. Reason I am selling is that I am upgrading to a larger boat/blind combo. This boat would be great for someone that hunts the Lake Erie shoreline, marshes, rivers, or inland lakes. The rig was featured in an article in DU magazine in 1989 titled "Flip Top Ducks" by the original owner/designer of the blind. I have also used the boat in the Maumee river for walleye fishing and it was perfect for that application. This boat also served as a tender on calm days while layout hunting on Lake Erie.

Total package asking price is $2000.00. I have more pics if desired, and the two posted were taken before any work was done to the boat/trailer. PM or email at: bfg@educatedangler.com if interested. Toledo, Ohio area.
