Fish Trout Fishing south of Detroit

HEy everybody was just wondering if anybnody new of any place to Trout fish south or near Detroit,i will be at my mother-in-laws for the whole week of the fourth and have not been able to fish that area yet.I will be in the Wyndotte area.Any info on trout or any fishing period will be greatly appreciated.

West of the city is Paint Creek. The state stocks it. South of the city is the Huron River. Maybe the best trout fishing anywhere around the area is the steelhead fishery of Lake Erie on the north shore in Canada. Wheatly\Erieau comes to mind.

Thanks Hunting Man paint Creek is what I've been hearing,but do i gotta have a Canadian License to fish off that shore???????????
