Thumbs Up Big Bay DeNoc

Im heading up to the U.P. fishing big bay denoc. Ive fished up there alot as a kid with my grandfather...but thats been 20 yrs. ago. Im look for northerns, walleyes, smallies and some salmon and trout. Ive got down riggers for the salmon and trout. Im looking for what areas to launch my boat and bays and area for fishing them. Perch fishing will fill in the other times. What they catching them on. Any help would be great!!!!

Thanks
Scott

I have a cabin on BBDN, before I try and give you any advice I need to know when youre going and how big your boat is.

The locals are reporting some catches of kings off of Fairport. It's just getting started.

The walleye fishing continues to be good on Little Bay De Noc.

As noccurs has indicated, Big Bay is big water and not too many boats around to help you if you had a problem.

Good luck. I'm jealous.

I'm currently up near Garden visiting the folks for the next few weeks who live right on the water. I go fishing everyday (weather permitting). Let me know where you are staying and what type of boat and I'll share my spots. If you are on the Stonington penninsula I'm clueless and can't really help because I fish up and down the Garden Penninsula. I also go out for salmon out of Fairport about 20 times a year with a relative so I can help you out there as well.
