Default Coyotes with turkey decoys and calls???

I think I read somewhere about hunters using turkey decoys/calls for hunting coyotes. That seems resonable enough. In an areas that have good populations of turkeys and coyotes that a turkey would be part of the daily diet of a hungry coyote. Does anyone have any experience using this set up?

I once saw a hunting show where they were after turkeys and they had a coyote come in after the decoy. I haven't gotten into coyote hunting yet, so I don't have any direct hands-on experience with this

Done it here in central IL and it does work. The fastest stand I ever had. I will admit I did not check my local laws other then the state hunting book and it did not specify. I have used the fawn bleat here too with success.
