It looks like they've just restructured the main forum a bit. It's still Coldwater fishing. But there is a forum for general information and discussion, big lake reports (boat), big lake reports (pier/surf), and then a forum for tournament discussion.

They've been doing some shuffling in the warm water forums too.

It will take a LOT more than one bad season for me to abandon my beloved Maize & Blue!

Thumbs Down I don't like!

I think a good idea would be a seperate foruum for each port as well
that way if you fish st joe all the time, you won't see grand haven reports
or if you fish muskegon, you won't see ludington reports. A seperate
forum for if you fish deep water, say 150 foot or deeper (big boat) or
shallow forum, shore to 149'-11-15/16" deep? (small boat)

keep up the good work guys!

Thumbs Up

I was just thinking, this actual thread "whats going on in the cold water forums" should actually be moved to the sound off forum.

it has nothing to do with cold water species fishing!

Just changed things up a bit to organize, Thanks Steve! That way if you are looking for reports you will not have to search through pages to find what you are looking for. Should just make things and information easier to find, though will take some getting used to.

I think it'd be a bit easier to get used to if "General" was this first page, instead of a second level.

Not a fan of the new format, and it seems like less posts overall, but thats just my $.02. I don't pay the bills.. I'm sure I'll still visit...

Default long time coming

Good job on the organized Cold Water Species. I think it makes perfectly good sense, seperate the Tournament from the pier fishermen. You have the General Discussion and Lake reports.

As far as lack of postings, could be several things...the cold, wet weather...the price of gas...some guys job future is looking bleak...lack of salmon on the east side....

Default oh no

not another bash jason thread.he's a good reporter. leave him alone!!!

as far as the threads go,i like to know which ports are hot all over the state.it makes it a bit harder to wind through them.i don't care if its the pier ,the lake, tournaments or not. it breaks up the community of fisherman a bit.really it doesn't matter that much either way.i'll still read and enjoy.
