Default 2+4 fuel stabilizer

Awhile back there were posts regarding outboard winterization. Somebody talked about a fuel stabilizer, 2+4 by OMC, that they thought was superior to others. I have been unsuccessful in my search to find this product. Does anybody know where I can purchase this stabilizer?

I don't know what would be so special about 2+4 stabilizer by OMC. I've always just used Sta-Bil and had great results. You should be able to find Sta-Bil just about anywhere.

It will take a LOT more than one bad season for me to abandon my beloved Maize & Blue!

Default 2+4

F.F.
I use 2+4 year round in my 30 HP Johnson and in my 6 HP Evinrude. It is a gas conditioner and a stabilizer.
You can get it at any Johnson/Evinrude dealer.
I also use an OMC product called Carbon Guard it is
great stuff if you troll alot.
I get mine at Carl's Boats & Motors in St.Clair Shores.
Later.

Thumbs Up

I'll second the Sta-Bil product. Used it for years without any trouble whatsoever.

Ditto on the stabil, I used to use it every fall when I winterized along with a fogging spray. Now that I fish all winter, I don't hafta use either one.

Thanks for the replies, hopefully I can hold out on winterization for a couple more weeks.
