hey, why do we have a upside down American flag on the home page? To me a upside down flag indicates a lake of patriotism. I think that all of us outdoorsman are very proud of our USA.

I believe that the upside down flag is in protest of the moccary (sp?) that this election is making out of the country. I'm sure Steve will explain. I also think that there were some posts on this in the sound off forum.

I am not liking that flag hanging upside down! This goes against everything that I believe in. What makes our country great is that we can have disagreements, scandals, and terrible goings-on, but we remain true to the flag and country. Please make this right. If not, I can't visit this sight any longer.

Flying the flag upside down is to indicate distress. Guess someone is calling out that they/we are in trouble. It is not to indicate anti-american sentiments.

OK, its down. I apoligize to anyone this offended but was my way of protesting what is going on with the election farce that is under way. This county is in distress until this thing is over.
