Default Foggins Question

Someone told me that even if you store your outboard outside durig the winter, you do not have to fog your carbs. You just make sure water is drained out of the OB, put WD 40 in spark plugs, drain lower unit oil and fill in the spring aand your all set. Is this true?

I tell you what...Before I attepmted to do any work on my motor I located a manual for the motor and did everything it said...I am not sure if what you are asking is true but I suggest you locate a manual on your particular motor and follow that. It may also come in handy if you ever have a mishap anyother time.
