Me too! I went last week and spent 1 1/2 hours doing the grand tour of everything BUT steely water. I finally found a park in Flat Rock with two bridges upstream that looked pretty good. What about the Meto Parks further upstream, any steel up that far?
You can private mail me if you would like. I can pay back with some nice steelhead flys! (bribe alert!!)

Default huron river

Mrsteel, come south on I-75 to Gibraltar rd. turn right and go west about 4mi. you'll be at Telegragh rd. cross Telegragh and your at the park most of the fishing is done between the foot bridge and Telegragh. East of Telegragh is a new boat launch which makes the down stream section accessible in a small boat. The river can also be accessed by driving east out of Flatrock on S. Huron river dr. and just pass the golf course the river comes right next to the road and there is a couple other spots further down too, and these holes get very little pressure. Jackster1,yes, the Huron River Fishing Assoc.has been passing fish thru the ladder all fall steels, coho, and at least one brown over 20 ins. I've been told of steels behind the swimming pool and I know personally of steels up at the railroad bridge Belleville. This is the most under fished section of the river. If you can get pictures of any fish caught in the huron and get them to me,gunrod, or ypsifly I would appreciate it. If we can show the metro park people that fish are being caught up there they'll pressure the dnr to incease the plants in the river. It will never be as good as the big M, P.M.,or Ausable but we can make it as good as possible and it's close. I hoped I helped and good luck! P.S. go black or go brite!!

I haven't heard of steels since Monday when two were caught. Walleye are hitting after dark though.

MRSTEEL, This may be an easier way. Head south on I-75 to North Huron Dr. this is the first exit south of Gibraltar Rd. turn right off of exit and head west on North Huron Dr. When the road ends, your at the park. The foot bridge will be to your right and the Telegragh bridge will be on your left.

Good Luck
