Yea, I know it. I spent alot of gas money scouting out places to hunt, and thats only advise I can give to anyone looking for an easy kill
other then that
1. make sure its super thick
2. make sure you have a dog with the desire to get in that kind of cover.
3. have dogs that can keep steady pressure on a rabbit to get him into the open for a shot. Because rabbits dont survive on public hunting land without being very very good at avoiding danger!
one of these spots were private land open to the public, and the list is availible on the dnr website. Feel free to look up the properties in the thumb.

went to the up this weekend and took two of my hounds. I planned on shooting but never got the shotgun out of the truck. Instead helped my brother shoot his first two snowshoe and got some good video footage. Snowshoe are just starting to turn white on their ears and feet. Had a good time, running was good and dogs got a little exercise. The one young male i brought was going crazy with his first smell of hare. He settled in and produced the last rabbit of the trip and brought it around nicely.

I like the Mule stuff. I have the summertime chaps, they are great all year around, but very nice in the summer with a pair of shorts under.
Mule is run by great people, who stand behind there products, and strive to accomidate hunters needs.
Notice i have on Muck boots as well. A must have combo for a rabbit hunter.
And for any one wondering, im the little guy in the pic. Big City just means im from the " Big City" , the first thing people say when they meet me is " well, your not as big as i pictured you to be" lol
