Here Piggy Piggy Again!!
Well my wife had some good luck this weekend!! She didnt want to sit out in the elements with me bow hunting so she went and sat in one of my pop-ups and there had been some sightings of pigs in this area and we had seen a bunch of rooting along the food plot in all the acorns! So I gave her my shot gun with some slugs and buck shot and told her to be ready just in case!! It was about 5:10 and I had just texted her if she had seen anything and she replies..."PIG" It took about a minute and i heard BOOM!!! So I call her and ask her if she got it and she says yes but then it got up and ran into the pines!! So she comes and gets me and then my father-in-law shows up and we start to track it and it only went about 30 yrds and was all piled up!! Whoo Whaa her first pig!! It dressed out at 125 lbs and should be a good one to eat!!

NICE, i'd love to have pigs to shoot in Michigan (all the time).
WOAH, before everyone gets their panties in a bunch I DO KNOW how much harm they cause, i'm just saying it's be fun to be able to blast some pork every once in a while, but not worth the damage to the ecosystem.

I have never seen one or met anyone that has. Where are these hundreds of pigs I keep hearing about?

Congrats on the pig down... Nice to see 1 out of the system...
But I have one question... Why did you let your wife go out with slugs and buck shot durning bow and small game season???

In the first post, he said they had pigs in the area and had given her the shotgun just in case.
As long as she had a small game license, she was totally legal

You'll probably get your wish...
Fishinmachine2: Congrats to your wife... I think if I got one like that, I'd have it mounted for sure!

Congrats on your wife getting some good sausage. Now comes the trouble.......
With your wife being a pretty lady, are you ready for her to get her own TV show and travel all over with her?
It seems like all the pretty ladies are getting their own shows so you better be ready for the phone to start ringing.
