Depends how much room I have in the fridge or how cold it is outside. I will hang my birds from their beaks using cupboard hooks I fastened to the ceiling of the garage. If it is cold out I may let them hang for 2-4 days before I clean them.

If I am incorrect someone please clarify but, If he was on the outside of the dike on Lake Erie as long as he was below the high water mark he is legal. (That is unless there were signs stating other wise...) Great Lakes and Connecting waters are different than being inside the marsh. Are...

You will not have to worry what the paint looks like if they contact any gas or oil. EPS Foam is does not get along with it. Burlapping would be my recommendation, as you could also stack things on the decoys without denting the foam. If you are interested in getting those Herter's burlapped...

Waterfoul, With all due respect I disagree. Camco makes a pink -100 Non-Toxic that can be used in Engine Blocks: http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=7812&familyName=Camco+Ban+Frost+2000+Marine+Antifreeze The non -100 RV non-tox I used in my IO is pink. I...

Considering that raw water from the lake/river contains no corrosion inhibitors I disagree you. Read the label on the non-tox bottle you can use some in motors. I have been using -100 deg Non-Tox undiluted for my I/O since I bought the boat new in 1999 without any problems. When you drain...

I shot Remington and Winchester Factory loaded shells until 5-6 years ago. After shooting a box I switched to the 3", #3 shells loaded by Sporting Ammo from Palms Michigan. This company is a licensed manufacturer and loads a nice shell. The 1-1/8 ounce 3", #3 shell is pushing almost 1700...

I own a 1999' 2052 with a 3.0 I/O (135 hp) and have to disagree. (Bought new in April of 1999) The boat rides exceptionally well in any weather. The boat is solid there is no delamination or gel-coat cracking from flex or "bad stringers". As for the power question I think the boat...

Run Pettit's Battleship Grey as your base and then lightly shade or mist the boat with Krylon Sage Green. If your hunting an area like Maumee Bay where the water is brown your not going to want to run a green shaded boat...... Here is a before photo of my Zack Taylor Sneak with the plain...

Here is a link to the University of Minnesota VDL Lab and more information regarding EIC. For those who have no idea how serious this condition can be there is also a video which shows the symptoms. It is pretty sad to see. http://www.cvm.umn.edu/vdl/ourservices/canineneuromuscular/home.html...

Sea-foam is not the magical cure all. It is a great additive to ensure a clean fuel system though. After 25 years of use I would say that the carb/bowl/jets may need a good cleaning. I ran into similar issues on a 4 hp Suzuki my wife's uncle gave me last year. The carb bowl was a mess and...

I will be there all weekend starting today at 1:30 pm. Besides the setup and tear down of the event, assisting with the open layout shooting contest on saturday and the river events on sunday I will be helping the GDHA and Waterfowl USA with the Youth Hunt BBQ. For anyone interested there is...

Mike, Rather than acclimate your dog I think the better term is "condition". Unless your dog is active during the off season you may probably want to start a small exercise program to get him (or her) back in shape for the upcoming season.

My puddler decoy set consists of (6) Toledo Decoy Magnum Mallards and (6) Toledo Magnum Black Ducks. Never had any problems with getting mallards, black ducks or wood ducks to work the decoys.

Brett, I have been on a couple of Carnival Cruises. Including one that left from San Juan and made stops at St. Thomas, Dominica and Aruba..... The big question you need to ask is how long will you be at each port of call? Chances are there is not enough time for a fishing charter which...

Aside from the MLB Chuck Huff the MLB Zack Taylor is also a nice boat. I had a Zack Taylor until I sold it last season. Between my daughter and a another baby (its a boy) coming October 9th I would not get to use it much. I will get another one sooner or later. I ran a 2hp Honda 4 stroke...
