I have both wire and net traps. The net traps will catch ALOT more turtles. I don't even use my wire traps since going to net traps.

That's the best gray fox mount, I've ever seen. So real, almost alive. Awesome Job!

Yes, one speared onto the trigger, inside the trap. Then I set one right on top of the trap (Its white, for eye appeal, and an invite to what's inside)

Cut the Breast about 1/2 inch thick across the grain. Put between wax paper and pound down with meat mallet until about 1/4 inch thick. Soak in milk at room temp for about 30 minutes. Roll in seasoned flour, drakes, etc ( I like frying magic) Fry in olive oil/butter mixture until golden brown...

First, mink season is closed. Second, the smell is from two musk glands down towards the butt, when skinning they are easily seen, poke one with a knife and you will really get a good whiff. And the white patch under the chin/neck area is very common on mink.

I've never did anything to them, with no problems. Both bought and homemade ones.

Wipe them down with a rag/paper towel. I hang them in bundles of 10 from the rafters, so the mice can't get to them. They can touch with no problem.

Picked up my 2nd Otter today in Zone B. Caught it in the same cross-over set I picked up the first one a week ago. This one was a nice sized male.

Finally connected on this nice otter today. I've been targeting a family group of 5 for two weeks on a 90 acre marsh. No matter what trails I set, they would change to a new one. But the old reliable cross over at a culvert, finally got this female today.
