    Yes changing colors or jig presentation helps alot somedays..also walleyes suspend somedays and those are almost always bigger fish that you can catch a decent percentage of with livescope.

    I use livescope everyday for vertical jigging...here is how it helps... 1. It allows you to see every jig on whatever side of the boat it is mounted on. I put mine midship to see the jigs and how fish are reacting to the presentation. 2. It shows fish when they are glued to the bottom better...

    I use it when jigging on down mode...you should be able to see about 10 ft each way of transducer allowing you to see from front to back of boat on whatever side you have it mounted...zoom in on the bottom to get better detail. You eventually will be able to tell different species by shape

    The answer is yes...the river finally got the push of mature fish ( the big push ) we have been waiting for. Yesterday we got on the river at noon. Dropped the trolling motor at the first spot and bam. Big fish after big fish Ended up with 30 fish over 5 lbs. Released some absolute giants...
