    I have #2 Winchester Mod. 100's, My Uncle dropped them both off so I could install new firing pins in them, this one is going back to Him, I get to keep the other one.. 1966 and 65.. I did take the see through mounts off and mounted reg rings..

    Nice you have the Manlicher stock.. the Deerslayer was the first name Ruger put on them, until Ithaca sued them for using their name from the Model 37 shot Gun.. They changed it to Ruger carbine 44..

    I just traded for a Nice Old Marlin 336A, 24" Rifle in .35 ren..Been looking to get one in .35 rem for a while now.. Waffle top been drilled for scope , not sure if it was factory or not..Doesn't matter to Me I plan on Hunting with it some and just enjoy shooting it,, I had this older Redfield...

    I went with a medium loop on my Marlin.. I find the larger loop fits my hand better and I can easily rack it faster and smoother when shouldered.. Never had a problem catching it on brush..I think that is an old wise tale..lol

    Yes it is.. 1970.. I have two other's a 1937, 99 in 300 sav. engraved and awarded to a Man in Arizona for the first Deer shot that year. And the other is 1899 30-30 half octagon barrel dates back to 1901
