What are the main differences between the new Cannon 5ST and the Cannon 10 STX electric downriggers? They sound like they both have mostly the same features. The 10STX is a lot more money than the 5ST. I wonder if the differences are worth the extra cash. Thanks for any replies
I picked up the 5s earlier this year not wanting to save up any more for the 10s. They are the same as I can figure just no extended boom on the 5 s which hasn't bothered me yet and they've caught plenty of fish
I've had no problems with the Mag 5's, fast and the auto stop works perfect. If your running 2 or 3 riggers these are perfect, I really think you only need the longer boom for running out and down set ups with 4 riggers or looking for one off the transom with an outdrive.
