Hey Larry, when do you usually start jigging in Frankfort? Im heading up around Aug 13th to start jigging, as was wondering if that was too early in the year for Betsie Lake

Hey Drakerunner. I was reading the posts from do walleye bite on rainy days, and saw your "yep" reply. Then I noticed the boat in the background. I just bought that same boat from Illinois, mine is a single console. Same color, 115 dark blue etec. Was wondering how you like the boat? I would like to ask you a couple q's about the boat that I can't figure out. I also fish Frankfort for salmon in August and I also am a minister! Like to hear from you.

Where do you plan on fishing? Lower river mid river is best right now....Depending on what boat You have Elizabeth park Trenton is by far the safest launch and about the cheapest per daily fee,the sheiffs dept is right in the park by the launch..lizzie as we call it here, gives u a 15 boat ride to mid river and a 2 minute ride to trenton channel and 5 minute to the mouth of lake erie...As for motels I live here so im not sure but would say trenton is safe allen park, wood haven, flatrock, along the river the closer u get to detroit the morn crime u encounter...Just make sure you lock up all fishing gear etc @night...Make sure you abide by the no wake laws@bridge's @2 and there is humbug channel that cuts behind calf island from west to east follow the bouys and no wake there as well G/L Mark

The guy in the picture on your post with looks familiar. See him in Frankfort harbor alot and he and his wife kill them. I think he is actually a jig maker and his jigs sell in Big Bobs UpNorth across from the marina. I think his name is Larry (Something)

OK drake: I checked out your profile. You say that you are a youth pastor. May I ask of what church? How long have you been doing that? The reason that I ask the question is that I have been a missionary for 33 years and now I am retired. I started out building churches - like the one out US 31 South on TC on the hill - Immanuel Baptist Church - that was my first big church project after Bible school. Then other churches I built throughout the midwest for almost 6 years. Then I went into the Missionary Pastorate for 18 years. Being semi retired and then retired I did the church renovation and remodeling or filling pulpit for the remaining years - even to date. We just finished two different churches and did their Vacation Bible School with them. Just thought I'd fill you in on myself seeing you were a youth pastor as well. Have a great night. Don
