Sorry for the refund. We regret to inform everyone we will not be in production. With RJT's new addition to the family, Claire, and his job, things became too tough to juggle. As we all know, family comes first. We will still be fishing, so if you see us, come say hi. Thank you to everyone for thier support. The nine mile BP will be carrying some of our final inventory so go say hi to Jackie and pick up DCT gear. As you all know, spring is around the corner and the walleye will run again!

Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.

That's the seconds ticking away until full blown archery season opens on the 1st! An entire off-season of scouting, target practice, and hard work all boils down to this. Don't wait until Thursday morning at O' dark thirty to work out your kinks. You still have one more day to climb up in that tree in your front yard and throw a few more arrows. And don't forget to practice in full hunting gear, including your gloves and facemask.

The weather forecast for SE MI is calling for high 50's, with lows in the mid to lower 30's. Winds are going to be predominantly out of the NW, so choose your stand sites accordingly. The cool weather and incoming front predicted for Friday should spark good deer activity throughout Thursday and into Friday morning. Remember, deer are in their Summer feeding patterns still, with bucks congregated in bachelor groups. Hunting food sources is a good bet as rutting activity is still several weeks away.

If you've done all your homework and have rested your stand locations for a long period, opening week provides a great chance to arrow a mature buck before he wises up to your intrusions. Arrive at your stand at least 1 hour before shooting light (7 am), and choose a route to avoid spooking feeding deer.

The storied tradition of another Michigan whitetail season is on the verge of breaking the horizon. I know I'm ready...Are you?

I have a 3 year old springer that when on the trail of a bird will range to far out breaking her quarting pattern. Resulting in a flush out of gun range. She was at a professional trainer, but, I think that was a joke as she almost never made it out of the kennel as he was always at a field trial with his dogs when I checked in. Anyway, I have tried shock collers, she just runs through the zap, running her down, I'm getting to old for that, yard training which she does perfect, and almost everything I can think of. She will after flushing the bird respond to any command perfect. I just need to get her to remain in her pattern and stop if she gets to excited. Any suggestions?

In August, I will be spending the week on Glen Lake and I was wondering if anyone knows about fishing the lake? I'm primarily interested in smallmouth or perch. I was told at the bait shop that fish aren't even caught on little glen during this time.

Where on either lake should I fish during August (depth)? What lures, size, and colors should I use? I appreciate any help I can get. I will post the results.

Right now it looks like they could win this thing, but there's still a long way to go. They are getting timely hitting, even from the backend of their order.

The top 3 starters are super right now, though Porcello, will likely get shut down early.

That brings us to their needs. They need a big left handed bat, another legit starter for the rotation, and anyone who can come out of the bullpen and get the side out without first loading the bases.
