Ended up hitting 2 different lakes today... started off on Simcoe for Whitefish.... was beautiful out...no wind but tons of bugs!

Within minutes we were into our first fish. We fished 55-63' between Willow Beach and JP.

Headed over to Scugog to try for some Walleye managed to get 8 decent fish along with lots of good sized perch up to 12+". Awesome day on the water today and a great time was had by all... got to love this hot summer weather too! All Walleye were caught in 6-10' on 1/8 and 1/4oz jig's. White and Smoke colours both worked good today (Plastic) and only 2 fish taken on Bucktails.

This cooler contains the day's catch and has 4 Big Whitefish on the bottom (1 was 6lbs)... 2 bags of ice and some Walleye and perch on the top layer.

Take care and Good Fish'n..... Greg.

Hi Salmonslayer,

Yes... there is a beautiful Provincial Park right on Simcoe just outside of Sutton off Hwy 48. Approx. 400 sites... huge launch that can handle 6 boats at the same time... sandy beaches etc. The park is called Sibbald's Point Provincial Park.

The guests I had out from Michigan in the above Pics had a blast and I'm sure had fun cleaning them all when they got home I kept none. I was out again yesterday and we boated over 30 Walleye that averaged 17-18".... great eating size and I did keep 5 of them.... guess whats for dinner tonight? :fish:

Take care and Good Fish'n..... Greg.
