Wet for a while but well worth it. Fished Friday from 2PM till 9PM. Caught 6 eyes with 3 being keepers. A 22, 18 and a 15. Throw in 6 bass up to 4 pounds and it was a most enjoyable day on the water. All on huskys in the weeds, middle grounds. If you weren't cleaning your lure almost every cast you weren't in the weeds enough. :fish:

Someday, someday..
Well I think that the lake temps are optimal.. at about 68 degrees fish are going to be most active as the temps warm and baitfish become more scattered likely to get more difficult.
As for the weeds as thick as they are and as fertile as the lake is it allows catching walleye mid day. I want to work on some more weedless set ups. Bottom bouncers have worked at times. Also have seen jointed cranks with the back half and trebles removed and replaced with a single hook and a grub. that is one of the next things I want to try. wont totally eliminate the weed problem but it should lesson it.

I remember years ago we used to fish browns in Fremont lake in front of the creek mouth by the ramp. There used to be some nice sized ones. Does anybody ever get any out of there any more or are they all gone?

they seem to be all gone but I was always thinking it would be pretty neat if there were still a few milling around but I doubt it.
