No deal,,,we got burned by that old "a day late thing" or in other words I did know where there was a rebuilt power-head that was never picked up last year.
It was going up for sale for the balance owed on the bill (about one third the cost) but someone got to it before us.
So now you are kinda in a bad way.
1 if you take yours in for a rebuild your boat is probably going to be sitting for a long time because everyone who is worth spit is swamped this time of year.
2.if you go through one of those motor exchange places you need find out exactly what the definition of rebuilt is?
you need to find out exactly what machine work has been done and what new parts are in the motor.
3.you could look for a used power-head,but you will always be wondering just how long it's going to last?
4. if you can find a new factory power-head,,,that would be nice and probably give you a warm fuzzy feeling.
What is the condition of your power-head? is it locked up?burnt pistons?
If you have any questions about anything you are looking at feel free to shoot me a PM.
