went out of boles today tues may 31, started fishing at 7:45 AM, 15 min had a 5 pound sheepshead that fought like a walleye
9:00 got a 18 inch dangling a bottom bouncer over the side w crawler harness,, 9"15 another 20 inch same set,
10:00 trowing a gold erie derie with crawler , 22 inch
11:00 started trolling with hot and tot purple and a green and gold one, went 500 feet got a 23 inch on the purple, took him off and went about 300 feet, 22 inch on purple hot tot, 11:50 quit, 5 for five
was out N/W of west sister on the south side of the pack 26.5 feet 10.5 miles out
I will be back tomorrow and prob thurs also White 20 catamaran

Unless I mis-read the guide I thought the season on Erie doesn't open until tomorrow.

Michigan waters open tomarrow, Ohio and Canadian waters are open year round. Next year Michiagn waters will be open year round also. Good Luck!!

hey ypsi, you weren't out there monday were you? we saw a catamaran out by west sister.

Where do you guys fish when you go to Erie in Ohio? I was at Cedar Point this weekend and there was a lot of guys fishing around the point. I'm assuming it was for walleye. Was anybody from the site in that area?

most of erie is ohio so take your pick, west sister is good right now but its 14 miles out!! yes the almighty wally

No wasn't me, I never go out on holiday week ends or any week end, just during the week, don't ike the crowds

She is like a nut case , she gets so excited when I am loading the boat, the second day I was out wed there was a little more waves enough to make the boat rock and roll, I saw her acting a little funny then she puked up her treats, so I put her up on the council so she can see and she was fine, she ate some more and layed there watching the other boats, first time she ever got sea sick
