On Sunday we went out of Anchor Point at 7:00 and started off 2 miles east of the gravel beds. We
picked of 6 fish on our first pass. Went back for another and picked up 4 more. Then the boat traffic picked
up and things slowed way down. We picked up two more and then headed north of WS. We set up NE of a
little pack and the screen blew up with fish. We picked up our remaining 11 in one pass. Program was jet
20's with spoons 85 back and dipsys on number one at 35fb. Off the water by 2:00 with a 4 man limit.
Monday we started where we ended on Sunday. We were fishing competitively against 2 other teams for
bragging rights so we wanted to go where we thought the fish would be. As soon as we set down the screen
lit up again. We had 1 ticket in about an hour and were in the third inning in no time and then it slowed way
down. The sun came out and the wind died. We were stuck on 19 fish for over an hour. We did find a small
pod of active fish and hit them pretty hard. We ended up with a 4-man ticket by 1:00. Same program as on
Sun.
