Well was out on the water and noticed that my Lowrance transducer has a cracked at the mount around the bolt...is it possible to epoxy it back on or will this effect the performance...there is nothing woring with the actual transducer, it was still ready, just ofcourse not correctly because it was floating around

Given any thought about mounting it in the bilge area? I'm sure you can buy a new mount but the wires will get damaged if it's spining around and not on the mount.

Have you checked Lowrance.com as well? If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of their homepage, you can buy just about any part or accessory for a Lowrance product. I'm about positive you could get another bracket for your transducer on there. I believe it's called LEI extras or something like that. I've got an X-65 that was missing the correct Gimbal bracket, and the stock Gimbal knobs. Ordered them both from the site, they took only 6 days to get here, and now I've got a new X-65 fishfinder that my buddy thought was junk.:)

Ahasiec,
The transducer is still working, I would try patching it with JB Weld.
You would be surprised what I fixed with JB Weld.

Patched it up with some JB weld and it seems to be very strong, pushed and pulled on it a little bit and like I mentioned it seems to be holding on tight. :)
