I'm going to replace my Easton carbon Epics with a more durable shaft . I like the specs of the Beman Black max with the thicker walls and the HIT system for better insert alignment ,but they are a little pricey compared to the Gold Tip XT's
I will be using them for hunting only ,but want a durable ,true flying shaft for fixed blade broadheads .
Anyone use either of these arrows ?

For durability and spine longevity go with the Goldtips. The black max will have the same spine degredation problems as the axis as they are the same arrow just with a different name.

Go with the Gold Tips, They offer more versatility and are more durable. You can go from 7.6 grains per inch to 11.8 gr. per in. with the same spine deviation.

Wow I need to look the Gold Tip product line over better, I thought they only had arrows in the 8.2GPI range. I am seeking a heavier arrow for hunting, thanks for the tip
